If you do not want to recruit 12 testers yourself, you will find many services. They differ a lot in price, and even more in what they promise. This comparison uses only what each service says on its own pages, with a link to each source. We run ClosedTest, so we are not neutral, and we tell you where we are not the cheapest. Google's rule itself is in its testing requirements.
The comparison
Checked on 26 October 2026. Prices change, so check the linked page before you buy.
| Option | Price as published | Testers | If Google refuses production access (as the service says) | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TesterBee | From $14.99. Larger plans up to $31.23 | 12, up to 25 | Says it has a money-back guarantee and free retesting | pricing, plans |
| Testers Community | $15 (Starter), $25 (Pro). A detailed QA report is a $40 add-on | 15, or 25 | Says "approved for production access or your money back" | guide, cost page |
| TestFi | $39.99 flat for the closed test bundle | 16 | Describes a free re-run, with conditions, for engagement refusals | TestFi comparison, another |
| Fiverr gigs | Listings show prices from $5 up to $40 | Usually 12 or 20 | Varies by seller. One listing we read says no seller can promise approval, while others promise it | Fiverr listings |
| ClosedTest | $19, $29 or $39 (one-time) | 12, 16 or 20 | A free re-run first, then a refund if that also fails. Conditions apply. See the refund policy | pricing |
| Do it yourself | Free | You recruit | Not applicable | Google's guidance |
What the table shows
- ClosedTest is not the cheapest. Several services publish prices around $15 for 12 to 15 testers. If price is your main concern, start there.
- Some services promise approval. Google decides every application, and no service controls that decision. A guarantee is only as good as the service's willingness to honor it, and we cannot check that for anyone. Read the exact refund terms before you pay.
- ClosedTest does not promise approval. We offer a free re-run first, and a refund if that fails too, under the conditions on our refund page.
Where ClosedTest is different
We built the service around evidence, because Google's application asks for it:
- Daily check-ins from every tester, with a screenshot and an optional written note.
- Pro testers in the Safe Buffer and Maximum plans, who write detailed notes (15 words or more).
- A final report with findings, device and Android coverage, and a summary of what your test recorded for Google's form. See the sample report (a fictional app).
- Public numbers from our completed runs: see what 1,495 tester assignments show and the testing results page.
If you only want the 12-tester requirement met, evidence may matter less to you. If you want to know what happened each day, and to answer Google's questions with records, it matters more.

Questions to ask any service before you pay
- Are the testers real people on real devices?
- Do you need my Play Console password? (A good service never needs it.)
- What happens when a tester drops out? How fast is the replacement? See what to do when a tester drops out.
- What evidence do I get back?
- What is the exact refund rule, and under which conditions?

Which should you choose?
| If you want | Look at |
|---|---|
| The lowest price | The cheapest published plans, and read their refund terms |
| A refund promise | Services that state one in writing, and check the conditions |
| Records you can use for Google's form | A service that gives daily evidence and a report |
| To spend nothing | Do it yourself: how to find 12 testers |
