If you searched for "closed test pro" and ended up here, you are in the right place to find out that these are two different things with similar names. We run ClosedTest. Closed Test Pro is a separate product, and we are not connected to it. This page explains the difference using what each says about itself. Google's rule is in its testing requirements.
What Closed Test Pro is
According to its Google Play listing, Closed Test Pro is an Android app where developers test each other's apps. The listing says every user plays both roles: you test apps from other developers, earn credits, and spend those credits to get 12 testers for your own app. It also lists features such as verified daily checks, reminders, statistics, and install and uninstall tracking.
For its current prices and terms, check its own listing and website. We have not verified them, so we do not quote them here.
What ClosedTest is
ClosedTest is a managed service. You send us your opt-in link, and we coordinate testers for the 14 days. You pay once per app, and you do not need to test other developers' apps. Our testers check in daily with a screenshot, and you receive a final report. See the sample report and the pricing.

Which one fits you?
- You have time and want to spend nothing: a swap community like this can work. Read tester swap groups: how they work and where they fall short.
- You want someone else to run the 14 days: a managed service. Compare options in closed testing services compared.
- You want daily proof of what testers did: look at what each option gives you back.
Neither is right for everyone. Either way, you still do the Play Console steps and the production access form yourself.
