Google may tell you that more testing is required. Its guidance says continued testing can be required when there are fewer than 12 opted-in testers or insufficient tester engagement during the testing period.

Improve engagement, not just the number

Google asks about tester engagement and the feedback you received. A larger tester list is not a substitute for real testing.

Show what you learned

Prepare a factual record of the findings you received and the changes you made. Google specifically asks what you learned from the closed test and how you used feedback to make changes.

Plan the next test

If additional testing is required, continue the closed test with real testers and address the weaknesses from the first run. Do not assume the next 14 days will succeed automatically if the testing process stays unchanged.
